Barcelona Hotel Bar Week is designed for those who enjoy mixology at its finest. In its first edition, it will offer exclusive access to some of the city’s most iconic hotels, with top-level bartenders and an innovative format that combines cocktails, gastronomy, and cultural experiences. For seven days, Barcelona will become a liquid tour through its hotel bars, featuring special activities, tastings, and gatherings designed to discover the city from a new perspective.
The event was born with the mission of celebrating mixology in the hotel context, connecting industry professionals and enthusiasts through a program focused on creativity, hospitality, and the opening of new spaces.
BHBW also aims to bring hotels closer to citizens, inviting the local public to rediscover these venues as accessible, versatile, and full of possibilities: from an after-work cocktail to personal celebrations in elegant and welcoming settings.
More than just an event, BHBW positions itself as a platform to highlight local and international talent, energize the city's social and cultural life, and consolidate Barcelona as a key destination within the global mixology scene.

A week to discover Barcelona through its Hotel Bars
A week full of content: events, masterclasses, product and book presentations, Spanish and international guests. Scheduled throughout the day and night.

From September 22 to 28, the participating hotels will present exclusive cocktails created for the occasion by their bartenders, in a schedule that blends mixology, gastronomy, education, and culture.
The experience goes beyond the cocktail. BHBW offers full immersion in the world of hotel bars, with public events in selected venues. Each day, attendees can take part in masterclasses, workshops, seminars, and product presentations, designed both for professionals and cocktail lovers who want to deepen their mixology knowledge. The program also includes art exhibitions, book presentations, guided tours, and cultural gatherings, positioning the hotel bar as a space for conversation, creativity, and discovery.
At nightfall, guest shifts with national and international bartenders will take place, along with themed events, terrace aperitifs, and evenings at hotel bars that are part of Barcelona’s hospitality heritage, and much more.
One of this edition’s initiatives will be “Mix & Eat”, a concept that blends cocktails and gastronomy through brunches, dinners, and tapas paired with cocktails designed for each culinary proposal. Some hotels will go further by incorporating spirits as key ingredients in unique recipes, available throughout the week or at special events.
BHBW not only showcases high-level mixology; it also revalues hotels as urban living spaces. Although part of the city’s everyday landscape, many remain unexplored by locals. This initiative presents them as open, vibrant spaces full of potential: an invitation to inhabit, celebrate, and make them part of daily life.
The BHBW Pass and the Hotel Bar Passport
Barcelona Hotel Bar Week is a completely open event for everyone. The option to purchase the Official Event Pass – available through the website, BHBW’s social media channels, and the Eventbrite platform – will grant access to all activities and events, serve as entry to the final closing party, and offer exclusive benefits: special cocktail prices, priority access, and additional digital content.
Additionally, by showing this virtual ticket at the first Hotel Bar visited, each participant will receive their BHBW Passport, which can be stamped at each hotel to collect the Signature Cocktails of Barcelona Hotel Bar Week 2025. A tangible souvenir of having been part of the first edition of a pioneering global event. It’s not just about attending – it’s about being a protagonist in a new way of experiencing the city, its hotels, and its bar culture.
Throughout the entire week, the participating hotels will offer an exclusive cocktail list featuring Signature Cocktails, Low ABV, and Alcohol-Free options, all at a reduced fixed price of €12, with the goal of ensuring a consistent, accessible, and high-quality experience for all audiences.
